April - Spring is here

Ava loves the idea that she can play outside. She started taking private swim lessons with one of the students from Hartwick - she loves it until she is asked to dunk her head under water - she hates getting her face wet.

She celebrated Easter about 5 times. We spent Easter weekend with then Nowaks and Cades - lots of fun! She met her newest cousin - Madison. We colored eggs with her cousin Johnny and went on an egg and basket hunt with cousin Chase. When we got home the Easter Bunny hid several Easter eggs with candy around the house and left her a basket with her first Asian life like dolly. She also got a two wheel bike with training wheels - very pink with all kinds of princess adornments. She spent the following weekend at her Grammy B's with the other side of her family and went to see Princesses on Ice. The last weekend in April she, my mom, Grammy B,

Aunt Lynette, cousins Emily and Lexi had lunch from Brooks BBQ then went to the OH Fest Carnival. We had a lot of fun in April.

Easter at home:

Things she said this month... If I am the baby's mommy then you are Grammy. So, you are very old. Let's pretend your are ___ and I am___ . Her favorite songs - thanks to Fran - We will, we will rock you - with all the lyrics and Galileo, Galileo... The songs she sings with Mommy are Balance Beam and Playing at the Beach by Lori Berkner. I guess she experiences two very different car rides to and from school. Her favorite movies this month are the Care Bears. The quote from today that I want to leave you with... What do you want for dinner Ava? " Buns, not the ones on your butt but the one you eat"... and on to the next conversation.
